Course Details

Bear’s Best brings together 18 holes handpicked by Jack Nicklaus from more than 200 of his designs worldwide, creating a showcase of his most memorable work in a single round. Among the highlights is the par-3 6th, a replica of the 12th at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, which plays 169 yards entirely over water to a small, well-bunkered green with a steep slope behind it that punishes shots long. The par-5 12th, modeled after Gleneagles in Scotland, stretches 536 yards uphill, its narrow approach defended by a prominent bunker short right and additional hazards at the back. The round concludes with a recreation of Castle Pines’ par-4 18th in Colorado, where tee shots climb slightly to a bunker-guarded landing area before players face a daunting second shot over a gauntlet of 11 bunkers to a green surrounded on three sides by sand.
