Course Details
Founded in 1898, Century Country Club boasts a rich history and has evolved through two previous locations, making it a standout course in a region filled with prestigious clubs, including five private ones in Purchase, NY. Walter Travis played a pivotal role in securing the club's current 175 acres after relocating from nearby Greenburgh, NY, which was sold to Metropolis Country Club. To design the new course, the club enlisted the talents of Harry Colt and C.H. Alison. Century co-hosts U.S. Open sectional qualifying alongside the neighboring Old Oaks, alternating years with Canoe Brook Country Club in New Jersey.
